A school in the Daly City, California area is looking to find a full-time, onsite School Psychologist (PSYCH) for the a Maternity Leave Coverage during the 2024-2025 school year, roughly August 2024 - January 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable candidate who meets the requirements listed below :
Requirements :
- Must have an active School Psychology California License
- Must have Master s Degree or Doctoral Level Degree in School Psychology
- Must be licensed through the California Board
- Must have an active Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Position Details :
- 08 / 14 / 2024 - 01 / 31 / 2025 (tentatively)
- Full-time / 37.5 hours a week
- Caseload : maternity leave coverage, K - 8th grade,
- Pay Range : $40 - $70 per hour, depending on previous experience
General Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological tests : Use a range of tests to determine the pupils' cognitive skills, emotional stability, and social functioning.
- Develop and Implement Intervention Plans : Working with educators, parents, and other stakeholders, develop thorough intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff members to support students' academic achievement and general growth.
