POSITION SUMMARY : As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be a pivotal leader in our dynamic manufacturing and process development team, spearheading the innovation of cutting-edge manufacturing processes to drive our journey from early-stage development to successful commercial launch. You'll also optimize and troubleshoot existing production lines, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Innovate and prototype novel manufacturing processes to enable scalable production of groundbreaking endovascular technologies.
• Proactively identify process improvements, develop actionable plans, and execute enhancements to boost efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Design and run Design of Experiments (DOEs) to pinpoint critical parameters and optimize performance.
• Rapidly prototype fixtures and tools using hands-on methods like 3D printing, lathe, drill press, and band saw.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key process steps, swiftly resolving production issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
• Champion Manufacturing's voice on cross-functional teams, advocating for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) integration early in product development.
• Prioritize quality with a risk-based mindset, ensuring adherence to risk management policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
• Foster a positive, high-morale team environment by promoting collaboration, mentorship, and collective problem-solving to overcome challenges.
• Align your efforts with company goals, contributing to a culture of innovation, speed, and excellence in a supportive startup atmosphere.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION : Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $140,000-$180,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(k) with matching.
