NURSE PRACTITIONER

Responsibilities The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, patient care planning, prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of mental health and / or substance issues.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner may also complete Utilization Review calls on behalf of physicians and provide services at the partial hospitalization program.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana, Licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana.

Experience : At least two years with direct clinical experience in psychiatric / mental health nursing. Additional Requirements : Member of the hospital’s allied professional staff.
