Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development : Create and execute innovative, high-quality menus that align with our brand and concept.
- Kitchen Management : Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating standards, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintain stringent food quality, hygiene, and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Cost Management : Manage inventory, control food costs, and develop strategies to maximize profitability.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Industry Trends : Stay abreast of industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to continuously improve our offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with a strong passion for innovation.
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen management, including inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- A track record of delivering high-quality, creative dishes with a strong emphasis on presentation and taste.
- Extensive food safety and sanitation knowledge, committed to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not essential if experience and skills meet the required standard.
- Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the restaurant industry.
- Experience in menu planning, development, and execution tailored to a specific restaurant brand.
