About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Nights (19 : 00-07 : 30) Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum 1 Year License : Current Unencumbered RN License Certifications : - Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS- ACLS- NIHSS Must-Have : Experience in PCU and basic EKG preferred Job Description : Provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability.
- Deliver care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that offers advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
- Maintain compliance with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing, with verification of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.- Utilize electronic medical records efficiently, with Epic knowledge preferred.
- Contribute to a professional practice environment that encourages accountability, high quality care, and staff development.
- Be available for holiday coverage as required.- Participate in orientation and training as necessary to ensure proficiency in patient care.
