Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Infant Teacher at Exploring Minds Academy located in Erie, CO. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, and for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and activities.
The Infant Teacher will also maintain open communication and partnerships with families, and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and academy policies.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or equivalent experience and education
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed child care center or infant program
- Knowledge of infant and toddler development, care, and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with families and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
