Job Overview :
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time position in New Orleans, LA, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population, helping them achieve their educational goals through tailored therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their ability to participate fully in classroom and school activities.
Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and therapy strategies.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Valid Louisiana Occupational Therapy license.
Experience working with a K-12 student population preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
