Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services to students within school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
This role involves delivering both in-person and virtual therapy sessions, as well as collaborating with teachers, parents, and other clinicians to create effective treatment plans and set milestone goals for students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and skilled physical therapy services to students in schools, both in-person and through virtual platforms when applicable.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable milestone goals.
- Implement therapy programs that help students improve mobility, function, and participation in the school environment.
- Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on student progress.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on student needs and therapy goals.
Requirements :
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- School-based experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to provide therapy in both in-person and virtual formats.
