Join us!Job Description : This job is responsible for driving accurate, complete, and timely delivery of data. Key responsibilities include working with business stakeholders and technology teams to direct commercial banking data management activities and ensure availability for use by appropriate consumers.

Job expectations include managing execution within the enterprise data management standards, data quality, and control practices.

The Data Manager will be part of the ECATS Data Management & Governance team which is responsible for managing adoption of and adherence to data management policies and standards (i.

e. : Enterprise Data Management, Global Records Management, and Regulatory Reporting policies), active engagement / support of internal / external regulatory and audit issues, governing data incidents, and designing / supporting data strategy.

The team performs a control function covering Global Banking and has responsibilities related to the governance of credit data;

communicating and coordinating the impacts of enterprise data priorities; and monitoring the health of Global Banking data.

This position requires close working relationships with teams internal to ECATS, Front Line Business Units, Technology support partners, other business Data Management teams, Global Banking Operations / Credit Process teams, Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance, Global Compliance Operational Risk, etc.Responsibilities :

  • Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, and Risk to understand needs and produce data solutions, often in partnership with Technology
  • Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans for resolution, including recommendations so that relevant risk and compliance policies and standards are met
  • Analyzes emerging needs for data to address risk, regulatory, or business enablement priorities and appropriately plans for interim and target state solutions within data management policies
  • Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies
  • Driving the adherence of the Enterprise Data Management policies and standards across Global Banking by partnering with technology and other key data roles / stakeholders
  • Coordinating policy refresh activities across key stakeholders
  • Supporting enterprise annual assessment reviews
  • Executing governance routines for data quality programs
  • Supporting Big Rock NFRR Program; expansion of NFRR data sourcing governance activities
  • Engaging in enterprise data initiatives and supporting various attestation programs
  • This role will lead various meetings, drive initiatives and be on point to challenge discussion in various forums.Skills :

  • Strong project management / process design skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Hands-on, applied experience with Enterprise Data Management Policy / Standards
  • Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts; detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify and summarize complex topics. Comfortable leading presentations.
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders across multiple levels and organizations.
  • Ability to enforce difficult policy decisions, even when uncomfortable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)Desired Qualifications :
  • Knowledge of credit products and processes.
  • Experience and comfort working with large data sets.
