About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Surgery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Varies, 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM with on-call duties Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the specialty License : Not specified Certifications : BLS, Surg Tech Certification (NBSTA or NCCT) Must-Have : Candidates must be willing to work during the holiday season, including on major holidays like Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Job Description : Perform surgical technology duties and assist during surgeries.- Ensure the operating room is prepared with necessary equipment and sterile supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team.- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.- Maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Provide support in various types of surgical procedures. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
