The Opportunity :
We’re adding to our stellar Group Dining and Private Events team! As Group Dining and Private Events Manager, you will be responsible for securing new clients, responding to group dining and event inquiries, bringing leads to contract and working with the entire events team to ensure a successful event and a delighted customer.
This role requires excellent communication skills, food and beverage experience, a passion for hospitality and customer service, and the ability to work well in a team.
As Group Dining and Private Events Manager you will :
- Identify and strategically cultivate new prospects; create strong client relationships
- Review and respond promptly to all phone and email inquiries with tailored information
- Sell, book and contract Private Event and Group Dining business
- Conduct site visits for prospective and contracted clients
- Generate BEOs and coordinate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless execution
- Consistently communicate with client to determine guest needs and program requirements; assist in securing all additional event requirements (e.
g., audio visual, floral, etc.)
- Join a talented Sales, Marketing, FOH and BOH team with a successful track-record in implementing thousands of events with a high degree of repeat business
- Provide important input to the Marketing team’s Private Events strategy and communications initiatives
What makes you great. You have :
A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in event planning, coordination or management with hospitality background preferred.
Wedding planning experience a plus.
- An ability to work in a team, effectively prioritize and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- An energetic, outgoing personality with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Triple Seat, etc.); experience using Adobe InDesign ideal.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to occasionally be present for some portion of selected events including some evenings and weekends.
