Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Camden, NJ 08103 (New Jersey travel nursing jobs near Philadelphia)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

Setting : Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6

Floating : Required within 5 local hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL)

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend / holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (within the last 12 months)

Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)

BLS and ACLS certifications (valid through assignment start date)

NIH Stroke Scale certification

Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (2 attempts permitted, must be taken on PC)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Willingness to float to Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL hospitals as needed

Completion of required labs within 48 hours of signing

Navy blue scrubs required

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting, monitoring and assessing patients with diverse diagnoses

Monitor telemetry and collaborate with monitor technicians to ensure patient safety

Float to other units and affiliated hospitals within your skillset as needed

Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare standards

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning

Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols

Maintain a compassionate, professional approach with patients and their families
