About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : No prior job-related work experience required; preferred one year of experience in specialized field of Nuclear Medicine.

License : Nuclear Medicine registry; ODH licensure required; ARRT RT (R) registry required and / or NMTCB.

Certifications : CPR Certification required.

Must-Have :

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Description :

Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certification / licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices.

Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.

May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.

May have on-call responsibilities.
