Your responsibilities may include :
Business Analysis and Process Review :
- Review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
Project Leadership and Management :
- Lead large scaled, more complex projects related to operational business functions
- Ensure timely delivery of project tasks and milestones
- Manage customer and supplier relationships
Expertise in Information Systems :
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems
- Apply this expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans
- Provide advice and guidance to others in applying information and best practices
Effective Communication and Relationship Management :
- Manage customer relationships by developing a communication process to keep stakeholders informed of project results
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies
- Facilitate project meetings and presentations for diverse audiences, including senior management, customers, and technical staff
Process Design and Improvement :
- Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes
- Conduct business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level and provide strategic guidance on process improvements
- Focus on quality improvement and data management
- Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones
Leadership and Collaboration :
- Collaborate with team members and peers
- Articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management and peers
- Identify and initiate projects
- Drive issue resolution
- Hold self and team accountable for results
Basic / Required :
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or performing business analysis work
- 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology
- 3 or more years of experience leading large-scaled projects
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications : Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin / Mgmt, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related business field, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
- SAFe Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification training
- CCBA, CBAP, or IIBA-ACC Certification or equivalent Business Analyst training
- 10 or more years of experience eliciting and documenting business requirements
- 5 or more years of experience of Oil and Gas terminology, data, systems and workflows
- 5 or more years of experience facilitating software renewals and IT Risk Assessments
- 3 or more years of lean agile experience
- 1 or more years of experience in budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting
- Intermediate proficiency using Jira for project planning
- Demonstrated ability to do business process mapping
- Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee multiple efforts / tasks while meeting deadlines
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans and drive business improvements
- Results driven and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what’s right
- Understands and anticipates needs of clients and stakeholders
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment
