Requirements :
- An understanding of gauging theory and application skills, GD&T concepts, and a strong mechanical background are required
- Working knowledge of automated systems (robots, gantries, HMI’s, etc.)
- Previous experience with attributes and variable fixture gauges is required.
- BSME / BSEE or equivalent business or technical knowledge
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in the metal working or gauging industry is required
- Must be able to work independently; possesses strong interpersonal and organizational skill
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD
- Previous project management experience is required
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
Responsibilities :
- Maintain close contact with customers and internal personnel throughout the project to fully understand engineering and systems requirements
- Contact vendors and suppliers to monitor their progress throughout the projects
- Compile and maintain the lists of equipment required and relative costs
- Cost estimating as needed for the project changes
- Interface with Product Department in preparation of the customer runoff
