Responsibilities
The candidate will apply experience and knowledge to joint modeling and simulation experimentation events designed to inform Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) requirements and employment concepts.
The candidate will be part of the technical team, working closely with software and data engineers, Combatant Command representatives, the services, military and government advisors, and other contractors to integrate systems, capabilities, and tactical operations into an existing operator-led modeling and simulation environment.
Duties will include translating mission scenarios and event objectives into data collection requirements, assisting with integration testing to assess technical readiness, event execution, and analysis and reporting.
Additional primary duties will be to coordinate directly with other vendors, organizations, and agencies as required to identify emerging systems, capabilities, and concepts for future integration into the simulation environment.
The project requires significant travel primarily to the modeling and simulation facility located in St. Louis, MO, to perform core tasks.
Travel to other locations such as Colorado Springs, CO, Northern VA, and Huntsville, AL, as required to meet mission. The role allows for remote work when not on travel.
