DescriptionPrime Video is seeking a Head of Creative Services for our growing Global Live Sports Production team. The Head of Creative Services will support the entire Live Sports Production team, including but not limited to the management, design and implementation of all on air graphics across all properties in our live sports portfolio.

This role requires collaborative leadership, ownership, vision, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and a drive to learn and be curious.

This role will be the driving force behind the conception and delivery of on-air graphics for all Live Sports Productions, working closely with producers and production leads while managing and coordinating workflows between internal and external partners.

This role will also work closely with a Creative Services lead for Marketing and On-Air Promotions. The Head of Creative Services, Production will focus on the on-air implementation, constructing our own Graphics pipeline, ultimately building an industry leading standard Graphics department to service the needs of our entire portfolio.

A successful candidate will have experience managing teams and workflows related to all facets of on air / live sports graphics design working alongside both production, production operations and the technical operations teams, often with little oversight.

You will need to be a quick learner able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows and timelines.You will find yourself in scenarios where you are working as part of a team and where you act on behalf of our team.

Project management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines will be critical to the success of this position.

The desire and ability learn and be curious, staying on the cutting edge of graphic design trends and technology specific to that field will be of the utmost importance.

You will need to be ready to be uncomfortable and working on projects that be may foreign to some of your industry peers.

Overall sports knowledge and understanding of each properties graphics needs and nuances will also be crucial to success.Key job responsibilities

  • Providing creative direction and guidance to a team of designers, editors, and other creative professionals, ensuring that their work aligns with the Prime Video’s overall vision and goals.
  • Ensuring that Prime Video’s visual identity remains consistent across all platforms, including on-air graphics, logos, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external partners such as advertisers, sponsors, and sports leagues to help in the creation of content and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Overseeing the budget for creative projects and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sports broadcasting.
  • Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end-to-end workflow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes and workflows
  • Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow and technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products

g. digital asset management tool)- Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions- Experience with digital asset management tools- Experience defining the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company- 10+ years of graphics design and implementation experience- 5 + years of management experience- Experience working with multiple stakeholders- Understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company- Experience educating non-technical stakeholders and working across multiple teams and regions- Ability to problem-solve and multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team playerPreferred Qualifications- Experience working in both event / game and studio / shoulder programming settings.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,300 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $270,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
