Early Childhood Educator
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORResponsible for supervising, nurturing, and caring for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Welcomes children each day, provides meals, performs crafts and activities, change diapers and ensures children interact appropriately with other children.
Other responsibilities may include : Nurture and care for childrenHave funSupervise school age children after schoolServe mealsBe funOrganize activities that stimulate children's physical, emotional, intellectual and social developmentHelp children with self care routinesPrepare bottles and change diapersClean / organize classroomBe happy and energeticBe self motivatedMaintain a safe and fun environmentComfort children when they need comfortingPrepare daily, weekly and other schedules of activities and lesson plansSupervise children while inside, outside and on field tripsMonitor the van when transporting childrenSigning children in and outUsing the center software to communicate with parents and log children's activitiesWorking with children requires flexibility, ability to communicate clearly, dependability and patience.
