Job Overview :

As a Principal Splunk Engineer, you will be a technical leader responsible for driving innovation and excellence in our Splunk environment.

You'll leverage your deep Splunk expertise and experience to design, architect, and implement sophisticated solutions to support critical business processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and execute complex Splunk projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance solutions that optimize data ingest, searching, and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot complex Splunk issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Mentor and guide other Splunk engineers and power users, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and enablement.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Splunk developments, features, and technologies and contribute to the overall Splunk roadmap.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure Splunk priorities and solutions align with broader organizational goals.

What are we looking for?

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Splunk expert with a strong understanding of core Splunk technologies, including SPL, Forwarders, and troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Splunk infrastructure to support increasing scale and reliability.
  • 5+ years of experience optimizing Splunk infrastructure and licensing to reduce cost, drive efficiency, and deliver value to end users.
  • Ability to work independently and act as a technical lead for complicated tasks and projects.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities.

Preferred :

  • Experience in designing and implementing Splunk infrastructure to support scalability and reliability
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar

Pay Range :

$143,100.00 - $238,500.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
