About The Position

e., ASCP, AMT, AAB, Certification, etc.). Two years clinical laboratory experience as a generalist medical technologist performing CLIA high complexity work in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, transfusion medicine, and urinalysis sections of the Core Laboratory.

Description for Job testing, maintenance of diagnostic equipment, operate automated equipment and perform complex manual procedures in Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulations, Phlebotomy, Specimen and special dispatch and specimen requirements, quality controls and other diagnostics.

Perform phlebotomy on various age groups : (infants to geriatric ages) and familiar with requirements and equipment for each age group, such as finger sticks, heel sticks and venipuncture with different needle gauges.

Withdraws appropriate quantities of blood by venipuncture, capillary, and / or arterial puncture as required. Collect appropriate specimen for lab testing according to established lab procedures. Guaranteed Hours : Contract
