Reporting to the Employment Manager of Human Resources, the Employment Representative is responsible for recruiting and placing all non-clinical professional and all non-exempt personnel for all divisions of Allied Services.
The Employment Representative is also responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of retention programs.

EDUCATION :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field required.
WORK EXPERIENCE :
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in employment at a professional level, including interviewing, selection and placement, checking references, employment advertising, etc., preferred.
Previous experience in a Human Resources Office and experience in a health care setting preferred.
S PECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective communication with staff, applicants, recruiting contacts, etc.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Will be required to gain working knowledge of employment laws including Title VII, ADA, FLSA, Civil Rights Act of 1991, Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1986, etc.
Must be willing and able to travel to various employment fairs, other recruitment related events, and to all Allied sites.
Valid PA driver's license required for travel to various Allied facilities and employment fairs.

Well-lit office environment.
Works out of multiple recruitment offices within the various division of Allied Services.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB :
- Recruits, interviews, checks references, recommends selection and placement of applicants and makes offers to all professional and non-exempt personnel as needed.
- Conducts weekly new hire corporate orientation, runs required reports, tracks pre-employment testing.
- Acts as a representative of the Human Resources Department to assist employees and management with questions on policies and procedures;
and employee relations problems and concerns, etc.
- Assists with the development of and utilizes networks of recruitment sources in colleges, universities, vocational technical schools, high schools, community agencies, and professional associations, in addition to welfare and unemployment offices in order to provide an ongoing supply of applicants in the short, intermediate, and long term.
- Works closely with department-heads to identify recruitment needs and develop creative strategies for meeting them.
- Works closely with the Employment Manager to develop and implement retention programs.
- Assists with recruitment events such as open houses and receptions, and in order to recruit staff participates in on-site conferences.
Travels to and attends employment fairs, college job fairs, and represents Allied Services as various community events.
- Assists with the Applicant Tracking system. Updates job posting and external job postings on the internet.
- Works closely with all department heads to develop recruitment literature such as fliers, brochures, mailings, and other similar materials.
Writes and places recruitment advertising as needed.
- Processes billing as needed.
- Serves as a member of various corporate committees as required.
- Completes special projects as assigned; develops and prepares periodic statistical reports and analyses.
