Surgery - General Physician

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for recurring coverage one week per month . The role includes both outpatient clinic and operating room time , with no trauma call, no weekends, and no oncology / replant cases . Candidates must hold or be eligible for a South Carolina medical license, CSR, and DEA (permanent SC registration required). Assignment Highlights Coverage : 1 week per month (Monday - Friday) Schedule : Clinic : Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM ( OR : Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Volumes : Clinic : 20-40 patients / day (ages 15) Surgical : 5-12 cases / day Inpatient rounding : 0-5 / day Support : No APPs; MAs and Cast Techs available in clinic EMR : EPIC Scope : General ortho; must be comfortable with hand trauma (no replants, no oncology) Orientation : Required before first day (Mon-Fri only; not on holidays) Malpractice insurance included at no cost HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified, minority-owned agency Pay Ranking : Top 10% of ortho locum assignments in South Carolina Skills & Experience Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon Active SC medical license (or application in process) CSR and DEA (SC permanent registration required) Comfortable with high-volume clinic and OR settings Proficient with hand trauma cases (excluding replants)
