Western States Packaging is a film manufacturer dedicated to making premium quality plastic bags for food contact applications.
We are the largest direct food manufacturer of food grade poly bags for auto inserter equipment. WSP values their team and takes pride in treating every employee as an asset in creating opportunities for growth within the company.
The customer service representative is responsible for placing purchase orders with vendors, providing administrative and clerical services and performing receptionist duties for the organization to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations.

Responsibilities
- Microsoft Excel experience with data entry and analysis
- Customer service experience including answering customer requests via phone and email. Reply to emails and requests in a timely manner
- QuickBooks experience a must (sales orders, purchase orders, invoicing)
- Quickly learn our IT system and utilize understanding to analyze errors and propose solutions
- Communicate with shipping vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal staff etc. to achieve mutual expectations and satisfaction
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Coordinate between various departments to ensure timely and effective customer satisfaction
- Support efforts to improve processes and maximize business efforts
- General office tasks including answering phone calls, filing, order processing etc. and other related duties as assigned
- This position reports to the logistics manager

- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong typing and data-entry skills
- Accountable and mature work ethic
- Positive and proactive nature
- Proficient mathematic skills
- Good communication skills
- Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Customer service experience via phone and email
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
Preferred qualifications :
- Administrative background or prior experience in logistics
- Speak Spanish is a plus
- College Degree preferred but not required
- QuickBooks experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel beyond data entry preferred
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
