MANUFACTURING SERVICES MANAGER

MMARY DESCRIPTION :

Manage and responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Take stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing necessary materials and components.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supply chain management

Oversee Production Planner

Forecasting

Purchase and maintain adequate inventories of raw materials

Manage finished goods and WIP inventories to target levels

Review weekly production schedules to maximize efficiency

Perform weekly resin inventories and reconcile month end inventory

Servicing internal / external customers

Communicate daily with supervisors regarding completions, capacity, and product availability

Monitor work order start dates and raise awareness of any order not started on time

Identify and coordinate resolution of material shortages or overages

AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable) :

Scheduling / Planning Associate

EDUCATION :

Required : Associates Degree

Preferred : Bachelors Degree

EXPERIENCE :

Required : 5 years' experience managing Scheduling functions.

SKILLS : Strong written and verbal communication, leadership skills and ability, computer knowledge, excellent organizational skills.
