We are looking for a highly skilled Remote Nurse or Monitoring Specialist who will monitor patients' vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range.
- Formal education as a Registered Nurse or Health care aide or equivalent experience (RN, LVN, LPN).
- Strong verbal and communication skills in English.
- In-depth understanding of disease processes related to vital sign monitoring (hypertension, heart failure, CKD, asthma / COPD and obesity).
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Clinical experience in inpatient settings is preferred.
Tasks :
- Focuses in conducting remote physiologic monitoring treatment management services, clinical staff / physician / other qualified health care professional time in a calendar month requiring interactive communication with the patient / caregiver during the month (99457)
- Call patients for verbal assessment and health teaching.
- Manages computer / on-line guidelines for the purpose of responding to customer queries.
- Coordinating patient care and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team through electronic medical records
- Monitor vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range.
- Assess vitals and prioritize based on patient needs.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights in an online environment
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating patient progress and responding to alert cases through remote monitoring tools.
