Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified in Pediatrics and Schools to provide speech therapy services for students in a K-12 setting. This position is located in Des Plaines, IL, and is scheduled for the 2023-2024 school year.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
  • Knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices and procedures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff

Responsibilities include :

  • Conducting speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans targeting communication disorders
  • Delivering direct therapy services to K-12 students
  • Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support students academic and communication goals
  • Participating in meetings and professional development as needed
