Does the thought of engaging with locals in the community on social media, creating stories, posts, reels, and Lives! excite you?! Are you good at taking eye-catching photos and fun videos? If so, you could be a great fit for our Social Media Manager position at Plato's Closet!

At Plato's, we buy and sell teen and young adult clothing. All day, customers bring in clothing to sell to us. We strive to buy the trendiest clothing for teens and young adults and then merchandise it to make our store eye-catching so we don't appear like an unloved thrift store.

As the Social Media Manager, you would be responsible for creating and schedule several posts, reels, stories, and going live to showcase our awesome clothes and accessories. You'll create content to drive engagement with our customers, including showing off our merchandise and promoting our events. You'll also oversee our sales associates responding to customer messages and comments and work to grow our local following.

This is not a desk job. You'll be constantly creating content, being playful / fun, promoting and engaging with the community through our social media accounts. This content should be engaging, humorous, and fun : ). Every day should feel like you're trying to get people to come to our store's party! Whether the shindig is promoting customers getting awesome stuff for less or putting cash in their wallets when they sell to us, the goal of this position is to get more people coming into the store and more people knowing what message our store needs to get out, in a way the customers love to see!

Responsibilities

• Present Plato's Closet in a way appealing to teens and young adults to encourage them to come in and shop
