Job Summary : Avalon International Aluminum, a leading manufacturer of aluminum windows and doors, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management and supply chain efficiency, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and supporting our production operation.

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless product delivery and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to manage inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and streamline product flow.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient logistics management, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Order inventory of hardware, glass, paint (powder), and special items on a per project basis.
• Develop and execute strategic logistics plans to optimize transportation costs, reduce transit times, and enhance inventory turnover.
• Utilize transportation management systems to maximize efficiency and visibility across logistics operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with supply chain vendors to ensure timely and affordable delivery of materials.
• Oversee category management initiatives to optimize product assortment and pricing strategies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
• Analyze data to identify trends and optimize logistics operations to support business needs.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in logistics management, with a focus on transportation management and supply chain operations.
• Strong proficiency in transportation management systems and logistics software.
• Experience using MRP systems and proficiency in inventory management.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to enhance logistics operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Background in supply chain management and sourcing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Pay : $70,000 - $80,000 per year
