We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will be responsible for coordinating internal resources and third parties / vendors, while also managing project timelines, budgets, and communications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a grant funded temporary position lasting approximately 18 months.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking project progress and performance.
- Manage project resource allocation, including internal team members and external vendors.
- Working with the PI, Helen Barker, recruit participant non-STEM teachers for the training sessions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify project requirements, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project budget, expenses, and financial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating and guiding project team members towards successful project completion.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and assessment in partnership with the product manager, identifying areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role, managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Cybersecurity knowledge and experience
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
