STV is actively seeking a Rail & Transit Engineering Operations Senior Manager for any of our Mid-Atlantic offices in Baltimore, Washington DC or Fairfax, VA office as part of our Systems & Security Division.
The right candidate will need a proven record of experience client interfacing multi discipline rail (transit) systems design (automatic train control, rail electrification, positive train control and communications).
You should have experience associated with system start-up, systems testing, systems commissioning and construction.
Responsibilities :
Support the Transportation and Infrastructure Division of the South Central Region in rail / transit contracts for program management, design and construction management.
Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new transit clients in the mid Atlantic region.
Support various rail professional service pursuits related to major rail capital programs including light rail, heavy rail and commuter rail.
Coordination with engineering managers in various office locations to deliver projects.
Required Skills :
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Transit system design, management and construction.
Experience in both large scale transit system projects and task order contracts.
Track record of increasing market share in the transit sector
Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication, & interpersonal skills.
Excellent organization and planning skills
Team-oriented leader that can work with operations, engineering, project and marketing staff at all levels
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and business lines for integrated delivery and growth
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia is desired.
Compensation Range :
$122,808.00 - $163,744.00
