IT Audit Lead

A company is looking for an IT Audit Lead to oversee information systems audit functions and contribute to the development of methodologies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and review planning and execution of IS audits and special projects, including reporting findings to senior management

Identify opportunities for innovation using data analytics and agile methodologies to enhance audit efficiency

Build relationships with business and technology leaders to align audit efforts and provide trusted advisory support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, or CPA

At least 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in IT auditing and 1+ year supervising staff auditors

Deep knowledge of IS control and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA) and experience with SOX or MAR requirements

Experience auditing in cloud environments and key cybersecurity domains

Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage complex audits and present findings to leadership
