We are looking for a fired up hospitality professional to be a General Manager for Laser Wolf in Brooklyn! Laser Wolf, an Israeli Shipudiya or skewer house’, is on the rooftop at the Hoxton Williamsburg!
Laser Wolf is co-owned by chef Michael Solomonov and Steve Cook of CookNSolo restaurants, who combined are five-time James Beard Award winners.
The distinctive CookNSolo restaurants are : Zahav, Dizengoff, Federal Donuts, Goldie, K’Far, and Laser Wolf all in Philadelphia.
Boka Restaurant Group was founded in 2002 by James Beard Award winning restauranteurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm and has become one of the premier chef-driven restaurant groups in the country, with locations in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.
The General Manager will be responsible for :
- Leadership on the floor during service. This includes opening and closing the restaurant, t ouching tables, running food, overseeing staff, monitoring the door, preparing and reconciling closing banks, conducting pre-shifts with your team, writing daily recaps, and doing the final restaurant walk-through.
- Manage the Front of House team's weekly schedule. This includes the Servers, Bartenders, Hosts and Polisher.
- Manage Weekly Payroll. Approve FOH staff's hours and ensure tips have been logged and recorded correctly.
- Lead FOH hiring including posting job ads, setting up interviews, training schedule, and ensuring training goals are met.
- Working nights, weekends, weekend lunch, holidays and buyout events.
- Monthly inventory of glassware, silverware, plateware, uniforms, and dry goods.
