Requirements :
Current PT license in the State ofTexas
Certifies that its license permit or certificate has not beenrevoked by any agency or public safety and criminal justiceagency
Must be in good standing and must maintain that license whileproviding services.
Must be certified by the American Heart Association BLS incardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certificationwhile providingservices.
All certifications must be current and remain as such whileprovidingservices.
Knowledge or experience working with individuals with severe mentalillnesspreferred.
Responsibilities :
Plan develop and implement treatment protocols to treat improve ormaintain consumer s level of function or minimizerisk.
Design and fabricates / oversees construction of seating mobilitypositioning and other orthotic / assistive equipment Complete allrequiredtraining.
Review and analyze assessments progress reports monitoring dataincident reports and medical consults to determineefficiency / impact on therapeuticservices.
Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activitiesrelated to therapeutic services at the facility and statelevel.
Design direct and oversee competencybased training program for bothconsumers andstaff.
Participate in conference for diagnosis and treatmentplanning.
