Job Description :

Department Overview :

The Intraday Liquidity and Collateral Monitoring Team as part of the U.S. Treasury Liquidity Team is responsible for managing and monitoring of TD's U.

S. intraday liquidity and collateral monitoring across combined U.S. operations. The role monitors and manages intraday liquidity risk across legal entities and business segments and partners with key stakeholders such as the business, risk management and other key stakeholders at TD group.

Deep working knowledge of key liquidity regulations such as BCBS 248, Reg YY, FR 2052a, LCR and NSFR is beneficial in this position.

Depth & Scope :

  • Conducts structured, one-off and / or routine financial analysis as it applies to area of responsibility
  • Understands the finance function and the key business supported
  • Focus is on component of results (e.g., Expenses, Analysis, Revenue, Volumes) or on complete results for a small and / or low complexity business
  • May provide financial, analytical, planning, and forecasting expertise to assist in the development and completion of projects
  • May develop specialized analytical tools for project or ongoing use
  • Assists more experienced staff in and provides support for developing more complex analyses
  • May review results of assigned analyses with more experienced staff, assisting in the identification of unexpected results
  • Assists in the development of conclusions and courses of action to rectify discrepancies as well as analyses
  • May provide planning, forecasting and financial analysis support
  • May develop and analyze key metric and plan variances and related information
  • May develop analyses of performance and predictive data
  • Compiles and generates standard and ad-hoc analytical reports
  • Develops financial analytical and forecasting models to test assumptions and predict results of business initiatives
  • May perform additional research efforts, applying expertise in financial analysis
  • May research and review details of business operating metrics and actively seeks to identify and promote new opportunities or products
  • Assists in the development, forecasting, and analysis of potential responses

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
  • 3-5 years related experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives
  • Practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies, and planning software applications
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in common desktop business applications
  • Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information
  • Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Knowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience or knowledge of Liquidity Management, especially Intraday Liquidity Management, or Treasury function within a financial services setting
  • Understanding of key liquidity regulations such as BCBS 248, Reg YY, FR 2052a, LCR and NSFR
  • Excellent technical, analytics and communication skills
