FULL TIME DIESEL MOTORCOACH (BUS) TECHNICIAN

Location : Burlingame Service Center. 1480 Rollins Rd., Burlingame CA

History :

TNA works directly with bus operators to furnish parts, service, and warranty support as well as to connect them with new vehicles from TEMSA’s innovative line of coaches.

TNA’s national service center is in Orlando, FL and has another dedicated service center in California. TNA’s customer support team and mobile service vans are positioned and poised to provide service across all five regions in North America.

Requirements :

Computer software experience with : Cummins Insite, DDDL, Allison DOC and others

Have a valid Driver’s license. CDL PREFERED- NOT REQUIRED

Have a flexible schedule that could include weekends and holidays.

EPA 609 AC certification preferred but not required.

Essential job functions :

Must be able to read and comprehend safety rules, instructions in the use of shop tools and equipment, repair manuals, and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.

Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.

Must be able to obtain access of any component on the vehicle with the vehicle in any position.

Must be able to calibrate, monitor, and utilize test equipment and machines, and inspect various components of the vehicle.

Must be able to communicate well with others.

Inspect, repair, or change minor electrical parts such as bulbs, lenses, and lights in general.

Inspect, repair, or change of suspension components, brakes, air system, transmission.

Diagnosis and repair HVAC Systems.

Change body parts, such as side covers, bumpers, mirrors, door regulation and bathroom inspection and repair, etc.

Perform minor repairs as requested in Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of multiplex electrical systems.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.

Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivated.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks.
