We are seeking a Per Diem RN to join our Recovery Room department. The role involves providing direct, specialized nursing care to patients across all age ranges.
Key responsibilities include :
- Delivering safe direct care to assigned patients
- Maintaining adherence to hospital policies and procedures
- Participating in patient care planning and discharge planning
- Assisting with tests and procedures as required
- Administering medication and IV medication safely and efficiently
The ideal candidate will be a program graduate with at least one year of directly related experience, and an RN licensed in NM or under reciprocal agreement.
They will also hold CPR for Healthcare / BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification, with additional specialist certifications desirable but not essential.
Physical requirements include exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and working in environments with potential biohazard risks.
