To join this team please have the following requirements :
- Must possess a valid unencumbered, RN State License.
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Previous clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or other related healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the public.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the department
- Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
- Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care
- Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures in accordance with current rules and regulations
