Job Details

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for all experience levels! Pay will vary based on experience level, and there is a shift increase for the third shift with the potential for overtime. We have open positions for the 2nd shift.

Maintenance Pay range

$23.05 to $32.95 / hr (Pay commensurate with experience)

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintenance Mechanics perform skilled work in the operation, predictive, and preventative maintenance and repair of the facility's real property, power industrial trucks, and plant utility systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Follows all company personnel safety, food safety, attendance, and GMP policies.
• Proactive in the daily plant operations as well as set up and / or breakdown.
• Work to maximize plant efficiencies, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
• Completes daily log sheets, communicates effectively, and is proactive in recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and / or other mechanical concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventory.
• Accurately and consistently change out parts.
• Lubrication, conveyor belt repairs, power train & bearing maintenance, motor and gearbox replacement, forklift & pallet jack maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment promptly.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
