About The Position
Job Title : Certified Sterile Processor Job Specialty : Central Supply Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 14 : 30-23 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Trauma hospital experience preferred License : Not specified Certifications : NICHSPDP Certification required Must-Have : - High School diploma or equivalent education- Completion of an appropriate Aide training program or a Central Technician program, or 6 months previous experience in Central Supply- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges- Ability to exercise tact and discretion- Strong communication skills- Self-starter- Must work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays Job Description : Provide sterile products and instruments to all members of the health care team- Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of all equipment and tools- Maintain organization and inventory of supplies- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Follow hospital protocols and safety regulations- Collaborate with healthcare staff to meet the demands of the Central Supply unit
