Job Description
The Assistant Vice President / Senior Associate will join our Institutional Banking Group Technology’s team to define, develop, test, analyze, to deliver business requirements and to achieve business goal.
We are looking for a dynamic Software Engineer that can build a world class team that ships high quality production code daily.
As a tech lead of developer, you’ll be responsible for shaping our technology strategy and building highly scalable, performant, and sophisticated system architectures that securely serve millions of customers every day.
Responsibilities
- Developing complex systems and components for real time, distributed and highly secured environments and handling infra and application setup
- Ensure code and designs are following bank’s policies, follow specifications, coding best practices, prepare and produce release of software complents
- Development script to monitor and improve application resiliency
- Assisting with application troubleshooting and debugging
- Working with highly collaborative teams and to build quality solutions
- Working with Agile teams using JIRA tool
Job Requirements
- University degree - in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, with related work experience is with significate advantage
- 7 years+ of Experience in software development in depth knowledge in JAVA, JavaScript, Python, Angular, SQL and Sprint Boot across banking / financial sectors.
Candidate with less experience will also be consider as senior associate.
- Hands-on experience in technical / application support on IBM MQ & CD is a plus
- Experienced in functional and technical specifications documentation, systems design, conduct system test, support user acceptance test is a plus
- Mature and able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
- Able to guide junior developers on development and perform code review
- Hands on working knowledge on DevOps tools for source control and code branch strategy (Git, Bitbucket), Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Maven), Continuous Delivery (CA Release Automation)
- Strong Problem-Solving skills and ability to solve unstructured problem and challenge status quo
- Good team player, strong communication skills and proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
