We are looking for an experienced BusinessDevelopment Director with a strong background in thelogistics and transportation industry.

In this role you will beresponsible for driving business growth bysecuring new customer revenue building and maintaining keyrelationships and overseeing the entiresales process.

Your expertise will be crucial in expanding ourclients customer base and ensuring thattheir services meet the needs of a diverse range ofcustomers.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Sales& Client Acquisition : Sell transportation and logisticsservices by prospecting cold calling and leveragingthirdparty relationships to meet the diverse needs of ourcustomers.
  • Business Growth : Generate new salesleads solicit new accounts and expand services to current customerscontributing to the organizations grossprofit.
  • Pipeline Management : Build and maintaina robust sales pipeline ensuring consistent revenuegrowth.
  • Strategic Collaboration : Work closelywith management on sales goals planning and forecasting whilemaintaining both short and longterm business developmentplans.
  • Presentations & Proposals : Createand deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customersshowcasing how our solutions meet their unique businessneeds.
  • Performance Improvement : Engage withinternal and external teams to identify opportunities to enhanceperformance customer satisfaction and accountprofitability.
  • Customer RelationshipManagement : Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accountsensuring customer satisfaction andloyalty.
  • Account Reviews : Conduct periodicbusiness reviews monitoring account net revenue trends to ensureproper margin setup on products andservices.
  • CRM Management : Create and maintaincustomer account structures in the CRM ensuring data integrity atall times.
  • ValueAdded Solutions : Participate increating valueadded logistics solutions including supportingdiagrams and costbenefit calculations.
  • AccountTransition : Support the transition of new accounts through customerintroductions information transfer and securing necessarypaperwork.

Qualifications :

  • IndustryExpertise : Indepth knowledge of the logistics and transportationindustry.
  • Communication Skills : Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence presenting andinfluencing key stakeholders at all levels of anorganization.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit : Possessan entrepreneurial mindset with strong listening and negotiationskills.
  • ClientFocused Solutions : Experiencedelivering clientfocused supply chain solutions that meet businessrequirements.
  • DetailOriented : Proven ability tomanage multiple sales opportunities while maintaining attention todetail.
  • Technical Proficiency : Advanced use ofcomputer systems and applications (e.g. MS OfficeSalesforce).
  • Customer Service : Demonstratedexperience in delivering worldclass customer service throughproblemsolving and rapport building.
  • AnalyticalThinking : Strong analytical skills with the ability to makedecisions based on longterm outcomes.
  • Education& Experience : Bachelors degree in Business Administration Salesor a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience inbusiness development or a similar role.

Additional :

  • Thisposition is fully remote with minimal travel required (13 times peryear).
  • Ability to operate acomputer and remain stationary for the majority of the workshift.
  • Ability to communicate effectively viaemail and other electronic methods.
  • Salary is$80000 $100000 pluscommission!
