Medstaff is assisting with fulltime Psychiatry contract coverage for a facility in Buffalo, NY.
- Looking for a Board Certified or Eligible (within a few years of residency) Psychiatrist
- Must have an unrestricted NY License, DEA, Medicare, Medicaid and at least one year of experience outside of training
- M-F, 8am-430pm, may vary occasionally based on facility needs, no after-hours call
- Mostly Inpatient with some outpatient service at the same location for the NY State Office of Mental Health.
- The inpatient psychiatrist will need to perform evaluations for mental hygiene court retentions and treatment over objection, as clinically indicated, and testify in court as needed
- There will be need for stairs and walking between units and office locations
- Start date would be in later August based on renewal of contract, could be very long term
