Account Sales Manager, Upstate New York

We are seeking a talented Account Sales Manager to join our team in Upstate New York, ideally in the Rochester or Syracuse area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager in our Northeast region and working with a highly driven team, you will drive business growth of our Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands and manage a portfolio of accounts in your territory.

The remuneration range for this role is $, to $, dependent on the skills and experience the successful applicant brings, plus vehicle allowance and the potential to achieve a short term incentive bonus.

What you will bring

  • A college degree qualification and / or WSET Level 2 desired
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the alcohol, beverage, hospitality, or consumer goods industry / FMCG or a similar industry.
  • Ability to drive distribution and rate of sale growth in target accounts.
  • Build positive relationships with the distributor's sales force and management to achieve business growth through high-quality sales.
  • Actively work towards sales targets, execute brand plans, and offer education on key features and benefits.
  • The ability to understand and identify commercial opportunities, being aware of business drivers and are up to date with industry knowledge.
  • Ability to travel within your assigned territory including overnight travel.
  • Proactively plan, manage, and report on sales progress.
  • Be part of a highly driven global team
