T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified IT Project Manager to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations and Maintenance Services program located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB).

This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment.

For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities :

• Project Management :
• Manage the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects related to onboarding new systems and sustaining existing ones.
• Ability to work in an Agile Project Management framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Build, maintain, and communicate project plans for customers and internal teams
• Ability to keep team on schedule within project plans
• Work alongside Quality Management to ensure delivery of projects / milestones are met
• Onboarding Support :
• Assist in the onboarding of new technologies and systems, ensuring a smooth integration into the existing IT infrastructure.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and facilitate effective communication throughout the onboarding process.
• Infrastructure Activities :
• Contribute to the ongoing sustainment of IT systems by coordinating maintenance activities, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Implement best practices for system reliability and performance optimization.
• Work closely with the infrastructure lead on project prioritization and execution.
• Collaboration and Communication :
• Foster positive working relationships with IT teams, end-users, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to leadership and stakeholders regularly.
• Risk Management :
• Identify and assess risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address challenges to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Documentation :
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Ensure that all project-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with two (2) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree and 0+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Atlassian product knowledge (JIRA, Confluence, etc)
• Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
• Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired Skills :

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
