Assist in the delivery of primary health care services and patient care management by performing diagnostic imaging in an ambulatory setting. Qualifications

Certifications : Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)

Education : H.S. Diploma / GED (Required), Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiography

Work Experience : Responsibilities

Clinical Imaging

• Accurately perform diagnostic exams of patient as requested by provider using proper MA, KV, Time and Distance parameters.
• Provide proper education of procedure to patients, their family, and others as needed
• Employ proper radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination to patients.
• Perform quality control activities on radiation emitting equipment and darkroom equipment to ensure optimum image quality.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $26.27per hour - $43.87per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
