Job Summary
Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) is seeking an entry level Environmental Compliance Specialist to support our US extended producer responsibility compliance activities for national and global brand manufacturers.
RLG is a tech-enabled environmental compliance services and circular economy solutions provider with twenty-four offices worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities :
The Environmental Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in our superior customer service and compliance service.
In this role you will :
- Maintain familiarity with complex US environmental regulations related, but not limited to packaging, electronics, and battery extended producer responsibility and recycling
- Manage deadlines related to regulatory compliance document submissions on behalf of our customers
- Analyze legislation, regulations and product and sales information in order to prepare forms and summary reports
- Assist team to effectively manage communication and engage with customers, regulatory agencies and producer responsibility organizations
- Support team sales activities including but not limited to CRM data entry
- Follow processes for customer account management, new customer onboarding and compliance activities
- Facilitate database and systems management projects for customer related tasks
- Research trends in extended producer responsibility and circular solutions
- Practice effective communication, escalation & incident management in a timely and proactive manner
Your Profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business, sustainability, or related field.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Effective working in a team environment and independently
- Excellent writing skills and ability to understand laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in extended producer responsibility, circular economy, environmental compliance
