About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : BSN, +2 Years Level 4 NICU Experience License : Valid State License preferred Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have : - Epic experience- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience Job Description : Work in a 46-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
- Care for critically ill, convalescing, and growing premature and term newborns.- Admissions from high-risk perinatal department and transports from various locations.
- Provide family-centered care for fragile patients and their families.- Collaborate with specialists in various fields such as endocrine, pulmonary, genetics, renal, metabolic, ophthalmology, neurology, general pediatric surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.
- Participate in the education of students and pediatric residents in a teaching hospital environment.- Be prepared to float within the hospital but not to sister hospitals.
This role is integral in maintaining high standards of care in a teaching hospital that supports both patient care and professional growth.
