Jobdescription

Database Developer works undergeneral supervision performs specialized level software projectactivities in such areas as Development Tools Test Requirementsand / or related areas.

Assignments may include but are not limitedto analyzing requirements planning and scheduling data updating andmaintaining different software specifications based on analysis ofspecifications needs and improvements as well as troubleshootingdebugging and maintaining of software test or tool designs casesscripts procedures and / or code based on strategic analysis.

Workrequires the application of theoretical engineering principlesevaluation ingenuity and creative / analytical techniques typicallyacquired in a recognized fouryear or more academic course ofspecialized study.

Applies engineering and scientific principles tothe evaluation and solution of technical problems in a creativemanner unique to each study.

Exercises level appropriate technicaljudgment in planning organizing performing and / or coordinatingengineering work.

WHAT YOULL DO

Work ondatabase application design coding / scripting and unit testingsupporting verification and validation testing and ensuring thatall application development conforms to design specifications andcoding standards for medical devices.

Support thedevelopment enhancement and modifications to source code.

Contribute to and support reviews held by otherengineers on related projects and provide useful feedback.

Contribute to and supports a variety of test phaseefforts.

Design and implement database applications inSQL and other programming languages such as Python / Java / C# anddatabase systems such as Postgres / Oracle.

Assist in thepreparation of detailed design specifications for implementationper Client design development process.

Review projectdeliverables such as specifications code and test / tool proceduresfor feasibility thoroughness clarity correctness and accuracy.

Presents at design reviews; documents and resolvesissues as directed.

Support all Company initiatives asidentified by management and in support of Quality ManagementSystems (QMS) Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and otherregulatory requirements.

Comply with U.S. Food and DrugAdministration (FDA) regulations other regulatory requirementsCompany policies operating procedures processes and taskassignments.

Maintains positive and cooperative communications andcollaboration with all levels of employees customers contractorsand vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING

Required

Bachelors Degree inEngineering discipline computer science related engineering fieldor an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

3 years of handson experience on database applicationdevelopment.

Experience with any of Oracle Postgres orother database system.

Experience with SQL Python Javaor C# scripting multithreading formal software developmentmethodologies and source code management.

Experience onone or more of the major cloud platforms such as Azure Google CloudAWS.

Working knowledge on cloud computing technologyfamiliar with Docker Kubernetes and other cloudplatforms / tools.

Working knowledge on Linux and Windowsoperating system.

Ability to work in a highly matrixedand geographically diverse business environment.

Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in afastpaced changing environment.

Strong verbal andwritten communications with ability to effectively communicate atmultiple levels in the organization.

Multitasksprioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Strong organizational and followup skills as well as attention todetail.

Ability to maintain regular and predictableattendance

Masters Degreepreferred

Experience in database design applicationdevelopment and database operations.

Experience in datamigration data governance data quality and data analytics.

Experience with AI applications.
