JOB SUMMARY :
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in an assigned area as specified by a work schedule. This will be accomplished by utilization of a seven-step cleaning procedure.
Housekeeper has daily direct contact with patients, and must have a good diplomacy with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
HOURS :
- 80 Hours Every Two Weeks.
- EVENING Shifts will be during the week, Monday-Friday (2 : 30 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
- Every other Weekend and Holiday rotation (2 : 30 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
WAGES :
Hourly rate of pay starts at $15.38 / hr. but may climb depending on experience.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING :
- High school preferred; must be able to read and write English.
- Must have basic math knowledge and able to follow instructions.
- Knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures / techniques.
- Will be trained on the job.
EXPERIENCE :
Previous experience helpful but not required.
This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.
