Position Summary :
Ensures integrity of Gaven’s shielding products; work is frequently performed off-site at client facilities. When on-site, acts as lead for Test Techs, makes decisions in test approach and trouble-shooting, interfaces with customer
Job Responsibilities :
- Develops testing methodologies
- Develop and troubleshoot control / analysis testing software
- Develops improvements for ongoing work procedures
- Evaluate design and ensure testability was considered during design process
- Tests electrical filters using pulsed current injection equipment and ensures the resulting data is properly recorded and analyzed
- Performs shielding effectiveness testing to determine the performance of a shielded enclosure; if shielding issues are discovered, recommend rework to production personnel
- Accurately fills out test records, inventory logbooks, test reports, and other documentation
- Troubleshoots to resolve issues such as incorrect equipment configurations, faulty data recording methods, defective devices under test, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned
